We love living in Charleston. There are so many plantations and historical places to see. If you are in the area, here is a quick snapshot of Middleton Place. What makes it special is the waterfront view.

MUST SEES:
Large Live Oak:
Located on the north side of the property.
Nymph:
Ask directions as she is difficult to find. She was buried to be protected during the civil war.
TOURS:
There are 4 tours included in your ticket. The rest cost extra. We did the "Beyond the Fields" tour and the Garden Overview. Both were interesting, but be prepared for A LOT of information in Beyond the Fields. You'll be there for an hour and a half.
