best waterfalls in the us
I’VE BEEN hunting for waterfalls for a really long time, and here are some of my favorites off the beaten path!
Ramsey cascasdes - TN
8.1 mile difficult hike because of the grade. It’s very rewarding and worth it at the top though. You can wade in the bottom pools.
pearson falls - NC
Private property with gates, but it’s a beautiful place to see nature and preservation.

VIRGINIA FALLS - MT
lower higgins creek falls - TN
CUMMINS FALLS - TN
2.1 mile easy hike to this beautiful waterfall that you can jump off of the lower levels. Hike with water-shoes since you’ll be walking up a river bed some of the trail.
SNOQUALMIE FALLS - WA
1.6 very easy trail to an overlook above the falls. I don’t believe you can swim in the river anymore because the falls are so powerfull.
